Riley Blake Designs is our 2025 fabric sponsor and supplied all of the fabric you see in the Sampler.

Each designer used a selection of colors from Riley Blake Design's Confetti Cotton Solids, in the following colors:

• Mediterranean
• Raindrop
• Bleached Denim
• Thistle
• Crocus
• Princess
• Autumn
• Tangerine
• Marmalade
• Butterscotch
• Golden
• Beehive
• Charcoal

Unfortunately, there is no kit available for this sampler, but we have fabric requirements in the section below!

These are the estimates for the Spooky Season Sampler 2025.

Please note due to the nature of the sampler, these are rough estimates and we've opted to include more fabric than strictly necessarily, so there will be some waste in the end.

• Sashing/Borders: 1.25 yards
• Blocks Background (white/light): 2 yards
• Black/Dark: 0.5 yards
• Dark Teal (Mediterranean or Raindrop): 0.75 yard
• Light Teal (Bleached Denim): 0.5 yard
• Orange (Tangerine): 0.75 yard
• Other*: 5 FQs and scraps (10" x 10")

*For the "Other" fabric, we recommend a selection of three purple FQs, two additional orange (darker and lighter) FQs, and three yellow scraps and one grey scrap.

The 2025 blocks were created with beginners in mind, however, this year roughly half of the blocks would be labeled "advanced beginner" or "intermediate".

Some of the skills included or required for the 2025 sampler -

• Stitch-and-flip / snowball corners
• Foundation paper piecing
• Small piecing (!)

Blocks will finish at 15" x 15" (15.5" x 15.5" unfinished).

After adding sashing and borders, the quilt top will finish at 57" x 57".

Please note due to the nature of the sampler, these are rough estimates and we've opted to include more fabric than strictly necessarily, so there will be some waste in the end.

• Sashing/Borders: 1.25 yards
• *Blocks Background (white/light): 2 yards
• Black/Dark: 1.25 yards
• Other*: 7 FQs

For the "Other" fabric, we recommend at least 1 Green FQ, 1 Medium Grey FQ, and 2 different yellow FQs. The remaining 3 FQs can be a selection of Halloween-y fabric.

[*] If choosing a color other than white for the blocks' background, reduce this to 1.75 yards, and add 1 White FQ for Day 3 block.

For the "Other" fabric, we recommend at least 1 Yellow FQ and 1 Orange FQ. The remaining 4 FQs can be a selection of Halloween-y fabric.
