HRT Trimmer
Make trimming half-rectangle triangles a breeze with the HRT Trimmer

Because of the steep diagonal seam, Half-Rectangle Triangles (HRTs) do not trim the same as half square triangles – the diagonal seam does not meet the corner. Instead, there is an 1/8" indent needed in order to keep your points.
The HRT Trimmer has this indent built into the markings, allowing for ease and precision when trimming HRTs so you can easily keep all your points! This one ruler includes four ratios (1:2, 1:3, 1:4, and 2:3) allowing you to trim up to 37 different sizes in the both right and left slants.
The HRT Trimmer ships August 2027 alongside Fran's Salt Air Batiks collection.
