Orange You Glad Table Runner

Orange You Glad Table Runner

Hi everyone! I'm back again with another free quilt pattern just for you. This time, I am bringing you a quilted table runner pattern called Orange You Glad. You can find this free pattern below.

This quilt pattern utilizes the Modern Curves Acrylic Template Set that I paired up with Riley Blake Designs to create. The great thing about Modern Curves is that it makes cutting your curve fabric pieces easy and accurate!

Meet Orange You Glad

I designed Orange You Glad last summer for Riley Blake Designs. Orange You Glad is a table runner that features five scrappy oranges in an alternating orientation. I had been wanting to make an orange-inspired quilt pattern ever since I released Memi's Lemons - a ~you guessed it~ lemon-inspired quilt pattern! With the release of my Modern Curves templates, I figured it was the perfect time to make that wish come true.

The Fabric

One of my favorite things about the Orange You Glad pattern is that it works so well with scraps! I pulled a handful of oranges and greens from my stash of RBD Confetti Cottons and paired it with a classic white background fabric to make this table runner. For those that don't like the scrappy look, I included the yardage option in the fabric requirements too!

The Table Runner

I honestly couldn't be happier with how my Orange You Glad table runner turned out! I wanted to make sure that I didn't compete with the cute oranges when I started to quilt together my table runner. Opting for this diagonal grid-style quilting was a great choice. Lining up the quilting perfectly inside the oranges was like the cherry on top of it all. Speaking of cherries - does that need to be my next fruit-inspired quilt pattern?
