Shine Together Quilt - Diamond Star Block

I'm so excited to share this cute little today! Riley Blake Designs has a gorgeous new free quilt pattern, Shine Together. This quilt highlight their latest low-volume collection, Hush Hush 3, and a rainbow of colors from the POParazzi fabric collection. As a bonus, each Friday Riley Blake designers are releasing bonus blocks that you can swap in on the center of the stars in the pattern - or in your own creations!

Hush Hush 3 Fabric

Hush Hush 3 is a collaborative fabric collection featuring neutral prints from a range of Riley Blake Designers. My contribution to the collection is this sweet lemon print, that calls back to my first fabric collection, Daybreak.

However, when it came time to sew my block, I went a little rogue. I really wanted to use some of my Moonchild fabric collection because it seemed like such a great fit for this block!

I used a selection of blues from the collection and the white with metallic gold Starfall print for the background.

I love those the colors play off each in this block and how lovely it looks either as a stand alone 6" block, or as the center of the star block!

If you want to substitute in any of the bonus blocks, you'll need adjust your fabric and those center blocks according to the instructions from each designer.
